As a family-owned business that opened our doors less than a year ago, this double nomination feels like a dream come true. It validates everything we've worked toward: creating Dallas's ultimate destination where sports, dining, and entertainment come together under one roof.
What This Recognition Means to Us
When four friends with wildly different backgrounds came together to build At Fault, we had a vision: create a place where everyone feels welcome, whether they're pickleball pros or have never held a paddle. A place where you can watch the game on a 130" screen while enjoying a chef-crafted meal. A place where "membership optional, fun required" isn't just a tagline—it's our philosophy.

The Journey to This Moment
Opening a 32,000-square-foot venue with 9 pickleball courts, two full bars, a restaurant, and an arcade isn't for the faint of heart. Add in the challenge of launching during uncertain times, and you might call us crazy. Our mother-in-law certainly did (and yes, she still helps fold shirts in the back).
But Dallas showed up for us from day one. You embraced our retro-modern vibe, fell in love with Chef John Franke's elevated comfort food, and turned our courts into your second home. You've made Tuesday trivia nights legendary, packed the house for Dallas Stars games, and shown us that Farmers Branch was exactly where we belonged.

Best Place to Play Pickleball: With 9 courts (5 indoor, 4 outdoor), instant replay technology, and PodPlay integration for seamless booking, we've created a pickleball experience unlike any other in Dallas. Add in our no-membership-required policy, and we've made the sport accessible to everyone.
Best Sports Bar: Our 130" projection screen and Jumbotron—the largest in DFW outside major arenas (maybe)—paired with Chef John Franke's menu elevates the sports bar experience. This isn't just about watching the game; it's about creating memories with food that matches the excitement on screen.
