The Idea
A group of friends wanted a place where pickleball, food, drinks, and competitive energy could live under one roof.

Family-Owned In Farmers Branch
At Fault is a public pickleball venue, scratch kitchen, sports bar, and event space built around the idea that competition should feel social, welcoming, and a little more alive.
Why It Exists
The goal was simple: make a place where someone can book a match, bring coworkers, watch a game, eat well, or walk in for drinks without needing a membership or a rulebook.
A group of friends wanted a place where pickleball, food, drinks, and competitive energy could live under one roof.
The team turned a 32,000 square foot Farmers Branch space into 9 courts, two bars, a kitchen, games, and flexible event space.
Chef John Franke brought a real restaurant point of view, giving the venue more than standard bar food.
At Fault opened as a public venue: membership is optional, walk-ins welcome, and room for first-timers, regulars, leagues, and events.
Family Business
At Fault is family-owned in the everyday sense: the same people who dreamed it up are here welcoming guests, jumping into games, checking on the food, and making sure the place feels personal. It was built to feel like a true Dallas-Fort Worth gathering spot, not a corporate concept dropped into a strip center.
