First MLP Style Pickleball Tournament at At Fault: Dallas Pickleball Hits a New Level
This past weekend was electric at At Fault as we hosted our first-ever MLP (Major League Pickleball) format tournament right here in Dallas. If you missed it, let’s just say you missed something special—this was not your average pickleball event.
What Is an MLP Format Tournament?
Think of MLP as the next evolution of pickleball—team-based, high-intensity, winner-take-all energy. Instead of traditional single/double elimination, teams go head-to-head in a series of matches that include various skill level doubles. Every point matters. Every teammate counts. It’s a format that’s made for fans, built for drama, and straight-up fun to play.
Dallas’ Most Exciting Pickleball Night
The vibe in the building was unreal. Six teams—each one stacked with local talent and plenty of personality—battled it out on our courts. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to see true team spirit in action, this was it:
Friends and family turning the bar into a real cheering section (shoutout to everyone who lost their voices)
Point after point of ridiculous rallies, hustle, and clutch shots
Lead changes, dreambreakers, and those wild momentum swings that keep you coming back for more
The finals ended in an EPIC dreambreaker, where Team Rafa beat Team Chris 21-18
